This workshop seeks to give attendees a basic knowledge of plurality, the experience of many people in one body. As 1-3% of the population is estimated to be plural, it’s highly likely that attendees have shared space with plural folks. However, even though many plurals are both disabled and queer, many spaces in these communities do not properly accommodate plural folks, with some being openly hostile. As more multiples start being out and proud, it’s critical for marginalized communities to stand in solidarity with the plural community, and create safe and accommodating spaces for those who are more than one.
