Name
Workshop 15 - Affordable, Accessible Housing: History, Barriers, and Advocacy
Date & Time
Monday, July 26, 2021, 3:30 PM - 4:45 PM
Description
There is an immense lack of affordable, integrated, and accessible housing available for people with disabilities. Having a comfortable and inclusive place to live is key for us as disabled people to flourish and thrive in our communities. It is important for every CIL to have a degree of information on how to advise callers and consumers on how to research affordable and accessible housing opportunities. Join me for this session to learn more about the history of housing in this country and how to address this critical need in our communities on the individual and systems levels.
