Paula McElwee is the Associate Director for Technical Assistance for the IL-NET National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Independent Living at ILRU (Independent Living Research Utilization). Paula has worked in the disability and independent living field for over 40 years. She has prior experience as a CIL Executive Director and interim Director and was appointed to serve on a statewide independent living council. Paula has provided training, facilitation, and consultation with state associations, SILCs, and numerous centers throughout the country.
